rater:mark-suspicious

Marks or unmarks a rater as suspicious for moderation purposes.

Overview

This command allows administrators to flag users whose rating behavior appears suspicious or problematic. It supports both marking users as suspicious with documented reasons and unmarking them if the suspicion is unfounded.

Usage

php artisan rater:mark-suspicious [options] <rater_id>

Arguments

rater_id

The ID of the rater to mark or unmark as suspicious.

Options

--reason=TEXT

Reason for marking the rater as suspicious (required when marking).

--unmark

Remove the suspicious flag from the rater.

Marking Process

When marking a rater as suspicious:

  1. Validates rater exists in the database

  2. Records the reason for the suspicious marking

  3. Updates rater status to suspicious

  4. Logs the action for audit purposes

  5. Applies rating filters to exclude suspicious ratings
